Our Story
AntibioticsIndia was founded in 2024 by a team with roots in pharmaceutical manufacturing, global health procurement, and supply chain technology. Our founders have collectively worked in API export from Hyderabad and Ahmedabad, procurement for large hospital networks, and policy work on antibiotic access at WHO level.
The frustration was universal: buyers couldn't find reliable supplier information. Manufacturers couldn't prove their credentials to international buyers efficiently. Shortages were only discovered reactively. The “global supply chain” was really just a network of personal contacts and broker relationships.
We started by indexing publicly available data — regulatory databases, pharmacopeia listings, FDA Drug Master Files, EU GMP compliance databases — and building a unified search layer on top. Then we reached out to manufacturers directly, offering them a professional presence and verified certification display in exchange for keeping their information current.
